Lot 019: 1968 TRIUMPH BONNEVILLE
Fine Historic Motorcycles, H&H Sales Limited (24th June 2006)
1968 is regarded by many as being a vintage year for the Bonneville combining good looks with good handling and performance and as a result of the introduction of the new twin leading shoe front brake, the ability to effectively curb the machines performance.
This example was restored, according to the owner, in Canada during 1997 prior to being imported into this country and his subsequently formed part of his private collection, seeing very limited dry use. It is described as being in A1 condition mechanically and cosmetically and is offered with a road fund licence and Mot certificate valid until June 2007.
