Lot 033: 1970 VOLVO 133
Fine Historic Motor Cars, H&H Sales Limited (23rd November 2005)
Finished in red with red vinyl upholstery, this particular example is described by the vendor as being in very good condition with regard to its B20B twin-carb engine, four-speed manual gearbox, electrical equipment, interior trim, chassis, bodywork, paintwork and wheels / tyres. Reported to have had "one lady owner", it is also "believed to have been serviced by a family friend from new". A late model Amazon benefiting from the "larger servo" and disc / drum brakes, it is said to "drive superbly with no obvious faults". Reputed but not warranted to have covered 27,654 miles in the last thirty-five years, this "ideal classic rally car" (though, some might view that as sacrilege) is offered for sale with MOT certificate valid until July 28th 2006 and historic class (free) road tax until October 2006.
