This car was conceived as a basic, up-dated version of the Lotus 7. Powered by the K-series engine many tuning companies offered upgrades for the 118bhp basic performance. With a simple aluminium chassis and GRP body it has a very good power to weight ratio. The interior is minimalist, bare aluminium, little carpet and few instruments. More power in the production car is provided by the 143bhp VVC engine.
