The Austin-Healey 3000 was introduced in July 1959 and although little different by a cursory visual examination the significant change was the big-bore 2912cc engine. In 1962 the triple-carburetor Mk II version appeared. The Mk II convertible reverted to twin carburetors. The Mk III was introduced in 1964 with production coming to an end in late 1967.
