HIGH PERFORMANCE ESCORTS MK.2, 1975-80

The Escort range was introduced in 1968 being modified over the years to keep it competitive in international events. The Mk II Escort was reskinned in 1975 and Ford expanded its rallying activities. In 1978 an Escort won the RAC Rally for the 7th consecutive time. At the end of 1979 the last of the work Escorts was built. The production cars also had many changes and upgrades over the years to keep up, despite a high specification there was a long list of options available.
