Morris Marina 1.8 Superdeluxe The car I have placed my registration under is the blue one, OHT, and it is in totally as new condition. It was purchased from an elderly friend a few years ago, and I have maintained it to his same exacting standards. It has 4104 miles on it from new and was bought in Bristol from our Bristol Motor Company dealership in 1977. It is a pleasure to own, and draws many pleasing comments. I have had a Marina of on sort or another along with my other cars since i could drive, and I honestly think that they are unjustifiably slated. Yeah sure , the car had a few problems, but anyone with any nowse can rectify those issues. The handling problems are greatly over exaggerated, and its kind of like Chinese whispers, you know, it ends up sounding like it would be easier to drive a Leyland Roadtrain fitted with 10" wheels, well it's rubbish, unless you are that incompetent a driver. I have had tons of fun in mine. The red on is mine as well (UHT) and that is the one I have carried out a few mods on. I am currently recommissioning it for some more action!!! Cheers anyways Nick |
