Plymouth Road Runner superbird

Overview

Produced: 1970-1970, 1920 produced.
Types:

A special version of the Road Runner was the Super Bird which was also available as a Dodge.  It stood out because of its large plastic front end and the enormous wing behind.  The plastic nose of the Super Bird was 19 in (48 cm) long, making the car 221 in (561 cm) long.  This oddity was only made for a couple of years and it was mainly intended for NASCAR racing.

Plymouth claimed a top speed of almost 200 mph (320 km/hour).
