Following the end of WW2 Humber quickly "de-mobbed" its war-time Pullman staff-car and added it to its 1945 passenger car range. Large tyres and Khaki paintwork were replaced by black or two-tone paintwork and elegant chrome wheel trims, a choice of coachwork was offered by H.J Mulliner and in-house coachbuilder Thrupp and Maberly.
The Pullmans mechanical specification included a 4086cc sidevalve six cylinder engine, hydraulic brakes and independent front suspension. Production of this conservative model continued until the more modern Pullman II arrived in 1948.
