An unusual Plymouth was the Asimmetrica. Virgil Exner, who was Chrysler's head designer, got Ghia to build the XNR concept car in 1959. Two years later the car was produced in small volume. One was sold to the famours Maigret author, Georges Simenon.
The car was known as Assimmetrica because nothing about the car was symmetrical.
