Allard P2 Monte Carlo

Overview

Produced: 1952-1955, 11 produced.
Types: Saloon, 2 doors, 4 seats

Following Sydney Allard's success in the 1952 Monte Carlo rally a new Allard saloon model soon appeared, the P2 Monte Carlo. The P2 was built on the same 112" wheelbase as the K3 Roadster, which shared the same mechanical items, including the same U.S. V8 engine options (i.e. Cadillac, Lincoln or Chrysler units).

The P2 had a blend of M2X and K3 styling influences which included the M2X "A" type grille. The two door body featured a large bonnet assembly which incorporated the front wings and hydraulic support struts. The P2 Monte Carlo was a heavy car and failed to capture the imagination of Allard buyers, only 11 were sold before production ended in 1955.
