The first Alpine was a 2-seater fibreglass coupé body, styled by Michelotti, on a Renault 4CV floorpan, but with the option of a 5-speed gearbox. Redélé drove one in the 1955 Mille Miglia and it was launched as the A106 'Mille Miles'.
